Avanest designs and builds software across six disciplines — websites, web apps, desktop apps, mobile apps, ERP systems and multi-tenant SaaS — with AI designed into the architecture rather than added as a later feature.

Positions the company takes publicly: evaluation sets are written before the feature they measure and run on every change; retrieval is preferred over fine-tuning for anything knowledge-based; model calls sit behind a boundary so a provider can be swapped without a rewrite; and AI features are designed on the assumption the model will sometimes be confidently wrong. Clients receive full ownership of code and infrastructure, work is priced per phase before it starts, and client data is never used to train models.
